Hale Nani Kai, 'House of the Beautiful Sea', is a true beach house a few minute walk to Poipu Beach. The Beach House restaurant is great for Happy Hour! Happy Hour is daily from 3:30pm to 4:30pm with live music until 5:30pm!

Poipu Beach
The closest beach is Poipu Beach! It’s great because there’s a lot of sand area and a play ground for the kiddos!

Luau
The Smiths Luau is the best! We don’t love luau food so we just go for the show (call and they will tell you which nights are show only)

Hiking/Kayak
If you like hiking, you can kayak up the Wailua River and there is about a 45 min or so hike to a waterfall. When I was a kid I would walk most of it. We like to pack a lunch and make a day of it.

Breakfast
The Hyatt up the road has a wonderful breakfast buffet. Ilima Terrace In the morning (9-10 am) they feed the koi fish (it’s not at that restaurant - it’s farther down the property). We love to go because they give the kids little packets of food to feed the fish!

Baby Beach
There is a tiny beach called Baby Beach up the road which is really fun for the kids to get used to the water because there are no waves coming in.
